In 1969, business partners Ed Perrott and George Bastian opened Bastian & Perrott Mortuary in Northridge, California. The mortuary quickly gained a reputation of exceptional service, a welcoming facility and professional staff.

In 2005, Bastian & Perrott Mortuary merged with J.T. Oswald Mortuary to form the new Bastian & Perrott, Oswald Mortuary. Mr. Bastian passed away in 2009, but Mr. Perrott still maintains an active role in the community and the everyday business of the mortuary.
